The Vale is beautiful. It has an amazing atmosphere. Rooms were clean, modern and neat. The staff without a doubt made our trip. They were unbelievable and went above and beyond. Food was amazing especially the breakfast. Highly recommend.

“The best accommodation in Niseko.”
The Vale has stood the test of time. Brilliant location relative to the slopes and Hirafu village. The Onsen is a wonderful way to relax after a day on the slopes. (Would be a good idea to reserve the Onsen for guests only for an hour in the afternoon)

“Splendid and Beautiful”
As we had a long drive in snow storm to arrive in The Vale and check-in was fast and easy with everything ready. Staff was really helpful in unloading and helping to park our vehicle. We had the studio apartment and we absolutely loved it, especially the bathroom as the modern Japanese decor was really beautiful with all amenities provided. Bed was king sized and comfortable. The kitchenette had all the basic utensils. And the hotel location fantastic near the ACE Family ski lift. The Vale was also near the restaurants and super marts all is walk able distance.

“Ski in Ski out. Wonderful stay.”
The location and the facilities. It was such a well appointed hotel. Being able to rent your equipment and ski in and out of the hotel to the ski lifts was fantastic. Equally being able to ski in and put your gear into a dry room locker and have an onsen and sauna after a hard day on the slopes was so relaxing.. Rooms were great. Concierge and front desk staff were so very helpful and friendly.

“Perfect holiday stay.”
The Vale Niseko is probably one of the best ski in/out accommodation at The Grand Hirafu. Super convenient to have ski locker room at basement with stair access to the Family Quad Lift ski area, as such you dont have to carry your equipment far and best to quickly head back to your room within minutes after a long exhaust day of ski/snowboarding.
Surrounding is great too, shops, restaurant all around, all within 5 to 15 mins walking distance. Direct Shuttle bus access to other ski areas as well like Hanazono, Niseko Village etc.
We stayed at one of the room with private onsen, and it was awesome, especially with the relaxation after heavy ski day. We didnt use the public one at ground floor, but it also looks very popular.
Staff and services are also top notch, they give you a ride to/from The Vale at check in/out. We used their concierge services to make restaurant booking a lot, since places get very busy and fully booked out during festive season, and they give you all kind of options and recommendations.
Overall, very pleasant stay and will sure be back again for another ski trip.

“Great stay for families.”
My family of four stayed here with another family of four. We had a one bedroom apartment that is connected to a studio apartment.
I love everything about it, especially coz we took lessons at Go Snow which is literally just outside the hotel. Also love the onsite onsen- went twice a day! The restaurant staff was wonderful too, big contrast to the nonchalant ones at the restaurant at Aya hotel opposite. And there are great eateries all within walking distance.
In all, a great stay that suits all our needs!

“Outstanding service in a fab location.”
We have had the joy of spending 9 days at the Vale in one of their studio apartments over New Years. The rooms are well appointed, the location right at the bottom of the family run couldn’t be better, it’s centrally located to the best restaurants, cafes, ski shops and bars Niseko has to offer. And if you need to venture further afield and don’t want to walk, the team are more than happy to give you a lift in one of their vehicles.
All of this definitely warrants 5 stars, but the thing that made our stay amazing, and why once you have stayed at the Vale you couldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Niseko, is the amazing team they have.
Super friendly, engaging, interested in how you’re going and eager to help make your stay as easy as possible. From the delightful Cyrus who picked us up from the bus, to the amazing team on the front desk, concierge, cleaning staff, and our lovely coffee makers at breakfast each morning, the team ensure that your every need is never too much trouble.
